Lisa Catanzarite earned a B.A. in English & Creative Writing from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.A. in Rhetoric & Corporate Communications from Duquesne University.  A member of the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators, Lisa has worked in public relations and corporate communications and lives in Pittsburgh with her husband Jeffrey, and their children Jack, Ava and Nora.

Heidi Miller earned a BS in Art Education from Penn State University.  She taught elementary art education in Pittsburgh before becoming a freelance artist and illustrator.  She lives in Pittsburgh with her husband, Brian, and their daughters, Abby and Paige.
